New Sea Glass Jewelry made with Oxidized Copper Chain

In honor of the earthiness of Autumn, I have started making sea glass jewelry with a lovely oxidized copper chain. You can see the full descriptions at: http://www.etsy.com/shop/zburch. Many of the earthtones are very rare, especially yellow, which is found in only 1 in 3,500 pieces! Lucky me for finding such a lovely piece:)

More Sea Glass, now in Stering Silver!!

Another busy week creating new necklaces with recently found sea glass. I bit the bullet and bought sterling chain and findings so these are either wrapped in sterling or hung on a sterling chain with sterling findings. can't help but think about the history of this glass. Sea Glass takes from 40 to 100 years or more to form. I love that this glass has been found in NY harbor. So many stories...and such beautiful colors and shapes.
All necklaces can be purchased from my etsy shop:

New Items
It has been busy week at the House of Z with Drew making jewelry and me making some new totes.
The new necklaces are made from real NYC sea glass that Drew and I have collected from our secret NYC beach spot. All glass has been dutifully cleansed and sanitized of NYC harbor microbes:).

You can feel good about our totes because with each one, a contribution has been made to the Salvation Army, Goodwill or other similar charity by purchasing our vintage shirts from them. I guess that means they are recycled too!

It looks like Earl is going to pass us by, so stop by the Hester Street Market to see us and our new creations.
Bags can also be purchased on Etsy: http://www.etsy.com/shop/zburch
